Peggy Rocha Snuggs is an educator in Tampa, Florida
and the mother of an E.D.S. child. Her passion has
always centered on meeting the needs of children,
in and out of the classroom.   Her spare time is spent
enjoying family, reading, and amateur photography.


                  Volunteer Activities include:  

  • Founder and President of Tampa Bay Branch for Ehlers-Danlos Foundation

  • Organized and hosted State Learning Weekend for Ehlers- Danlos Syndrome at Shriner’s Hospital in Tampa.
     
  • Served on Parent’s Board at Shriner’s Hospital in Tamp

  • Served on Parent’s Newspaper at Shriner’s Hospital

  • Created EDS information section at Shriner’s Hospital Medical Library in Tampa

  • Organized and hosted 2 golf tournaments to benefit Ehlers-Danlos Foundation

  • Organized and hosted 2 athletic fund-raisers to benefit Ehlers-Danlos Foundation

  • Organized and hosted National Ehlers-Danlos Learning Conference in 1998.

  • Served on the by-laws committee for National Foundation
